paintings [ 1 ] [ 2 ]

The paintings of Jeffrey Maron are created with the processes of etching and oxidation. Oxide crystals are force grown with heat (Maron uses a torch in one hand and a brush in the other), in multi layers, giving a lush deep coloration that is literally alive.
